Morning Court
Their Excellencies Kloe and Arion welcomed the Populace to the Event.
THL Arqai Ne’urin stepped down as Arts & Sciences Champion and received the Dragon’s Flame.
His Excellency, Arion the Wanderer, stepped down as Bardic Champion and received the Dragon’s Flame.
He Arion performed the Invocation to the Muse by Mesomedes of Crete, 2nd C on the lyre.
The Invocations for the Championships were done. Arts & Sciences with THL Arqai Ne’urin, THL Sigridr Vilhjalmsdottir, and m’Lord Ionnus (Owain) ap Gwyllim Pengryth. Followed by the Bardic Championships with THL Marie nic Shiobhan, m’Lady Ysuanaa of Dragon’s Laire, and m’Lady Halldora Bjorn.
Evening Court
Their Excellencies, Kloe and Arion, thanked everyone for attending the event.
Lady Sigrid Vilhjamsdottir was inducted as the new Arts & Sciences Champion.
THL Máire nic Shiobhán was inducted as the new Bardic Champion.
Dame Gwen the Potter presented the Light of Scholarship to the other entrants.
The Scholars participants were recognized: THL Annaka Poznanska, Maitre Renart le Fox de Berwyk, and Magistra Aelianora de Wyntringham. (They will be presenting their papers during Baronial Socials in the coming weeks.)
HE Arion invited all Bardic, Artisans and Scholars to share their art and knowledge with the Barony in the coming years.
HE Kloe read an announcement on behalf Baroness Spike of Madrone about this year’s virtual Athenaeum.
THL Andromache had an announcement about a Bardic War of Words, to be held May 15-23, ethereally. For more information visit the Bardic Wars Facebook page.
HE Arion showed HE Barnet Acelin’s Dragon’s Heart Scroll done by Dame Tamlyn
THL Ciar ingen Fiachnae stepped down as Seneschal and Lady Furia Dommitia stepped up as the new Seneschal. The tools of the Office had been exchanged earlier in the day (the Key to the Barony, the Oil Pump, and The Shovel).

HE Kloe announced that starting next year there will be youth versions of the Arts & Sciences and Bardic Championships and Scholars challenge. M’Lord Farcus and m’Lady Ysuanaa were invited to participate in the shaping of the Championships.
HE Arion thanked the following:
