We hosted our first Artisans’ Auction at Candlemas 2023 (link to event information) as a charitable fundraiser. We hope that this will become an annual tradition for the Barony of Dragon’s Laire.
We raised a total of $1,405 for our charitable cause of supporting the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, https://www.helpfightra.org (a 501(c)(3) non-profit).
Many, many thanks to all those who contributed and helped in any way to make this happen! Special gratitude to Lady Halldora Bjorn for her Auctioneering and access to online funds collecting! More About our Selected Charity
We will donate all proceeds to an organization working to combat the issues surrounding Rheumatoid Arthritis, an autoimmune disease causing inflammation in joints and resulting in painful deformity and immobility. Our Dragon’s Laire Seneschal (Marquessa Laurellen)’s mother suffered from this, and we wanted to honor her memory at this auction.
