  • SCA “yard sale” on August 18

It’s yard sale season again! We are pleased to bring back the summer yard sale for 2024. The Barony of Dragon’s Laire will provide the space, and we invite YOU to come sell any SCA items that you want to re-home. Come to shop, and pick up some bargains!

    Where and when?

    Date: August 18, 2024

Location: VFW Hall, 9981 Central Valley Rd NE, Bremerton, WA 98311

Time: Sellers may arrive to set up at 9am, shoppers admitted at 10am. The swap meet will close at 5pm (or earlier, if people wind up early)

    Cost: FREE

    How does it work?

    • This sale is specifically for SCA-related items. This might include garb, armor, SCA-legal weapons, feast gear, camping gear, the materials/tools to make these, etc.
    • Sellers, price your items any way you like. You might want to bring small cash to make change.
    • Buyers, please bring cash to purchase your treasures. Some sellers may accept some sort of epay/app payments, but please don’t rely on it.
    • Both indoor and outdoor spaces are available. The hall has some indoor tables and chairs we can use – first come, first served, no charge to you.
    • Sellers must remain with their wares (no drop-offs) and should take unsold items home at the end of the day.
    • Anything left on site when we close will, if unclaimed, be donated to Goodwill.
    • No vendors please.
    • No selling food or drinks. Donations ONLY for these items.

For questions, please contact the swap meet coordinator — Countess Elisabeth de Rossignol, gulesandor@gmail.com
