Tuesday Social special activities for November

Click here if you need the address — or other details about our weekly gatherings and martial practices. WINTER schedules are now in effect for all of our weekly fight practices — see the above link for more information about what this means!

With the waning light of Fall we shift from Outdoor to Indoor activities. There are countless Arts, Sciences, Bardic, and Feasts to attend throughout the Kingdom. Closer to home, we hold classes at our Tuesday Socials, but also social is a time to come together and work on our projects while sharing time with friends. We encourage everyone to bring what they are working on to Tuesdays Socials and share with others, get help where stuck, or just be around others while working away.

Domina Alys Graye, OP, will guide a Q&A forum on “Inkle Weaving 911”

As we begin encountering the upcoming darker and colder weather, and move inside, we are looking to learn new skills and new art forms. Please consider teaching a class. It would be sincerely appreciated. If you are interested in teaching a class at an upcoming Social; OR, if there is a class for which you’d like us to find an Instructor to teach, please let Master Arontius know.

You can reach Master Arontius in our unofficial baronial Facebook group or at DragonsLaire.ArtNSci@AnTir.org

Reminder: The Baronial Chatelaine, Halldora Bjorn heraldic device for Halldora Bjorn is looking for people from Dragon’s Laire to give short lectures and vignettes on various subjects of the SCA. “I’m basically looking for an extension of what we have on display at June Faire (costume making, cooking info, weaving, spinning, metal work, archery equipment, etc).” She is envisioning 15-min talks, just enough to give new members an introduction. If you are available and willing to give a short presentation, please contact DragonsLaire.Chatelaine@AnTir.org .
