Morning Court<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Their Excellencies Kloe and Arion welcomed the Populace to the Event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dragon’s Flame granted to THL Arqai Ne’urin at Candlemas 2021, February 6.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

THL Arqai Ne’urin stepped down as Arts & Sciences Champion and received the Dragon’s Flame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency, Arion the Wanderer, stepped down as Bardic Champion and received the Dragon’s Flame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He Arion performed the Invocation to the Muse by Mesomedes of Crete, 2nd C on the lyre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Invocations for the Championships were done. Arts & Sciences with THL Arqai Ne’urin, THL Sigridr Vilhjalmsdottir, and m’Lord Ionnus (Owain) ap Gwyllim Pengryth. Followed by the Bardic Championships with THL Marie nic Shiobhan, m’Lady Ysuanaa of Dragon’s Laire, and m’Lady Halldora Bjorn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evening Court<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Their Excellencies, Kloe and Arion, thanked everyone for attending the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lady Sigrid Vilhjamsdottir was inducted as the new Arts & Sciences Champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THL M\u00e1ire nic Shiobh\u00e1n was inducted as the new Bardic Champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dame Gwen the Potter presented the Light of Scholarship to the other entrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Scholars participants were recognized: THL Annaka Poznanska, Maitre Renart le Fox de Berwyk, and Magistra Aelianora de Wyntringham. (They will be presenting their papers during Baronial Socials in the coming weeks.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
