WINTER schedules for fight practices are kicking in!<\/strong> All socials will be held on weekday evenings at the VFW Hall. Heavy (armored) combat and rapier practices are still on Tuesday evening at the VFW Hall… for now. Archery has moved to Sunday afternoons. Thrown weapons is moving to Sunday mornings. Check Facebook for last-minute updates or cancellations due to weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Scribal Guild usually meets in a private home on the 2nd Thursday and 4th Friday of the month, and the Culinary guild typically alternates between the 4th Thursday and Saturday — inquire privately of the Guild heads<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oct. 1 <\/strong><\/td>Baronial Business & Financial Meeting indoors, fight practice outdoors<\/strong> \u2013 doors open at 6pm, starts at 6:30pm. These meetings are open to anyone. Learn what’s happening in the Barony! <\/td><\/tr>
Oct. 6<\/td>Sunday afternoon archery practice<\/strong> \u2013 starts at 1pm, outside the VFW Hall. Winter hours begin! and will run until (approximately) March, 2025.<\/td><\/tr>
<\/strong>Oct. 8<\/td>Tuesday Social, fight practice, and… Feasts 101 Class<\/strong>. Starting at 6:30pm, HL Jess Gateman will teach a class to help people prepare for their first SCA feast.<\/td><\/tr>

11-13<\/td>		REGIONAL WEEKEND EVENT in Ocean Shores, WA. The Rose & Thorn Symposium <\/strong>will be hosted by the Canton of Caladphort. This event focuses on women and gender-diverse fighters. (Kingdom calendar<\/a>, Facebook<\/a>)<\/td><\/tr>

We would sincerely love to host more Arts and Sciences activities in the upcoming months. They do NOT have to be simply ‘classes’. They can be lectures, demonstrations, roundtables, interactive discussions, etc.. The possibilities are endless. The Baronial Chatelaine, Aoife Aileanach<\/a> \"heraldic<\/a><\/span> is looking for people from Dragon’s Laire to give short lectures and vignettes on various subjects of the SCA. “I’m basically looking for an extension of what we have on display at June Faire (costume making, cooking info, weaving, spinning, metal work, archery equipment, etc).” These could be 15-min talks, just enough to give new members an introduction.
